Premier Tutors (PT) is a private tutoring and advisory service college that offers personalized education to students from Grade 6 to grade 7 and from Form 1 to Form 6. We have a team of highly qualified tutors who are experts in their fields and have achieved high pass rates in their respective subjects.
Our tutoring services cover a wide range of subjects cutting across Languages, mathematics, sciences, and humanities. We also offer specialized programs for students who need extra support or want to accelerate their learning or want to better their grades in a second sitting. We place greater emphasis on personalized learning programs/plans that are tailored to meet each student’s needs and goals. Our experienced and highly qualified professional tutors with proven track records of success have withstood the test of unforeseen challenges, the advent of Covid 19 is a notable challenge to traditional methods of transmission of knowledge in the classroom. Our quick adaptation to the new order was inevitable. The direct consequence was the effective use of Google classroom platform. Since then, the college has undergone a huge transformation and perfection of online teaching methods. The effect on teaching and learning is the same in comparison with the mechanics of the physical classroom.
Our teacher- pupil ratios are 1:1, 1:5 and 1: 10. the choice remains or is retained by the student or the parent. These are unbelievable small classes sizes that ensure each student receives individual attention. The 1 on 1 [1: 1] has guaranteed results. Over the years we have acquired comprehensive resources that includes textbooks, online materials, and past examination papers for each subject.
Premier Tutors also offers advisory services to assist students navigate the education system and achieve their academic goals. We have in place a qualified Guidance and Career Counsellor and Care Coordinator. Students are scheduled for Guidance and Career class once a month but may also schedule individual meetings with the Counsellor if necessary. Guidance is offered on subject selection, university admissions, and career pathways.

How do l register and join Premier Tutors?
Registration at Premier Tutors is simple and can be completed online or in person. Start by filling in the Application Form available on our website or at our Administration Office. Once submitted, attach the required documents a copy of the student’s birth certificate, recent school reports, a passport-sized photo, and proof of payment for the US$20 application fee. After your application is reviewed, successful candidates will be invited for an interview with the Director of Studies to discuss subject choices and career goals. Once accepted, you’ll confirm your place by paying a non-refundable deposit of US$50, after which you’ll receive the student Handbook and First Term invoice. What is the "Customised Plan"?
The Customised Plan is a flexible learning option designed to meet each student’s unique academic needs. Instead of following a fixed timetable, students (or parents) can select specific subjects, lesson times, and the number of weekly sessions based on their goals and availability. This plan is ideal for learners who need targeted support in certain areas, have busy schedules, or want a personalised study pace. Our tutors assess the student’s strengths and challenges, then design a tailored program focused on improving grades and building confidence. What is your policy on missed or cancelled lessons?
We understand that unexpected events can happen. However, to ensure fairness to our tutors and other students, all cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged in full, except in cases of medical emergencies or other exceptional circumstances approved by the Director of Studies. If a tutor cancels a lesson, it will always be rescheduled at no additional cost. Missed lessons can also be recovered during the same week where possible, depending on timetable availability. What is your policy on missed or cancelled lessons?
f you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged in full, as tutors reserve time specifically for each student. In cases of illness or emergencies, lessons may be rescheduled at the discretion of the Director of Studies. If a tutor is unavailable, the lesson will always be rescheduled at no extra cost or covered by another qualified tutor. We encourage all students and parents to communicate early so we can adjust schedules smoothly and keep learning consistent.
